Our Story

We founded Valthera on a simple belief: exceptional coffee should be sourced with integrity, roasted with care, and connected directly to the people who produce it. And most of all - it should taste exceptional!

We source our coffee beans from growers who are experts at producing in their altitude, soil composition, climate, and processing methods. All these unique settings shape the final character of a coffee. Character you can truly taste in each and every cup.

After you place an order, your coffee beans are roasted in small batches. It is a slower approach, but one that preserves the character, aroma, and freshness. This is what makes specialty coffee worth experiencing in the first place.

The kind of cup that makes you slow down and enjoy the present moment in reflection and gratitude. That means working with cooperatives like Cooperativa Agrícola de Servicios Norandino in Peru’s Piura and Amazonas regions, where smallholder farmers grow coffee between 1,100 and 1,700 meters in mineral-rich clay soils. It means partnering with Fazenda Santa Barbara in Brazil, where pulped natural processing and volcanic loam create coffees with remarkable sweetness and depth. It means sourcing from growers in Medellín, Colombia, whose carefully washed lots reflect generations of experience in one of the world’s most respected coffee regions.
