About Our Growers

Where Every Cup Has a Story

At Valthera, we believe great coffee begins long before it reaches your cup. It starts on a hillside in Peru’s Piura highlands, in the volcanic soils of Brazil’s Paraná, in the misty elevations of Ethiopia’s Sidama zone. It begins with the hands of farmers who have spent generations learning the rhythms of the land and how to draw extraordinary flavor from it.

The Valthera vision grew during years spent exploring remote regions of the world through expedition travel, conservation work, and photography. Along the way, coffee became part of the ritual. Shared before sunrise in the Amazon. Poured slowly in mountain villages. Carried in thermoses across long days in the field and cold mornings far from home. Over time, we realized the world’s best coffees deserved the same respect as the places they come from.

That idea became Valthera.

These coffees are not anonymous commodities traded by the ton. They come from families, cooperatives, and producers whose livelihoods depend on the quality of every harvest. By building relationships at origin and paying for exceptional work, we help ensure these coffees remain sustainable not only environmentally but also economically for the communities that produce them.
